The Dollhouse Bloodshed Tea Party Room puzzle is simple in theory, but it may result in you having to backtrack quite a bit. This puzzle must be completed if you want to complete the Giant Doll Head’s quest in the Attic. In fact, you have to complete it to finish the game, so it’s non-optional.

Dollhouse Bloodshed Tea Party Room Puzzle

If you’ve made it to the Tea Party Room after obtaining the Tea Party Room Key, you’re probably wondering how to solve the puzzle. On the walls, there are various clocks with spirals, each of which features a different colour. Oh, and there are also the changeable Roman numerals written on them, too.

Where Are the Roman Numerals?

One of the Roman numerals you can find in Dollhouse Bloodshed. It's written on the back of an old TV.

Whilst playing through the game, you may have noticed Roman numerals painted on the walls. At first, they seem pointless, but I had a feeling they’d come back to haunt me… and they did. Suddenly, I’d forgotten where I found them, what their colours were, and which numerals were written.

So, I had to backtrack. Luckily, they spawn in the same locations each time.

The places you need to visit are:

  • The room with the black and white TV (and the EVA clue note)
  • The bathroom
  • The secret room (where the Attic Key is located)
  • The walk-in freezer (the room where the Hammer is located)

How to Solve the Tea Party Room Puzzle

Either note down the colours and numerals on a notepad (or your phone), or opt for screenshots/photos (my personal favourite). The colours of the Roman numerals you found must match the colours of the clocks. It’s the corresponding numerals you have to change. For example, if ‘II’ was written in blue, then you need to change the blue clock’s numeral to ‘II’.

After changing all the numerals to the correct ones, the multi-tiered cake in the middle of the room explodes. To the surprise of everyone, it was hiding a Giant Eyeball. So that’s where the Giant Doll Head’s eye was… lovely.
