How to Tame a Wyvern in Rune Slayer
The Wyvern is a tameable mount pet in Rune Slayer, but is exclusive to the Beast Tamer subclass. As a Beast Tamer, you must reach level 30 to be able to tame pets, especially those of higher rarity and level.
Where Does the Wyvern Spawn?
To begin, head to the Tundra. The Wyvern itself has a low spawn chance, so it won’t always be available. As of right now, there is no determined spawn location for the Wyvern, except for the fact that it appears in the Tundra.
The most common area where Wyverns have been found by various players is around Frostwrought, nearby to the village.
Taming the Wyvern
Once you eventually find a Wyvern, you need to tame it. For this, you need a Wyvern Egg. To obtain a Wyvern Egg, you need to defeat a Wyvern.
This is an Epic rarity drop, so it is not always a guarantee. After you collect a Wyvern Egg, you must wait to find another Wyvern, which you can then tame.
Please keep in mind that the Wyvern is a sought-after mob, so keep an eye out for other players who are trying to snipe the beast whilst you’re taming it.
Defeating the Wyvern
As stated above, you first need to defeat a Wyvern to be able to obtain the required item for taming. The thing is, the Wyvern is quite a tricky enemy if you’re fighting it alone.
It has a large amount of HP and can inflict you with the Frostbite debuff. Its attack speed isn’t the fastest or the slowest, but you should still watch out!
