Dig It Megalodon Shovel
The Megalodon shovel looks like a fish… or more like a shark, perhaps? The Megalodon is an extinct shark species, though the shovel, in my opinion, looks more like a fish bone.
How to Unlock the Megalodon Shovel
To get the Megalodon Shovel, you need to participate in a Rainstorm event. This is a server event which has a chance to spawn at any time. It’s easy to obtain from here! You just need to look for the Finn NPC who resides across the ocean. The best way of finding him is to hop into a boat and sail around the water in search of him.
Once you spot him, you can make your way over. The Megalodon Shovel is purchasable for 900K in-game coins, however, your player level must be at 100 or above.
Rainstorm Event
There is no way to activate the Rainstorm server event yourself, so sadly, you have to be patient. Still, this gives you plenty of time to reach level 100+ and to save up to 900K coins. During this event, you can acquire Exotic rarity items as well as fish.

Passive Ability
The passive ability that comes with the Megalodon Shovel is probably by far one of the better ones in Dig It. When using this shovel, you can dig up island-exclusive items at any location. This does take a bit of fun out of the exploration side of the game though – I recommend this one for late-game players.
Additionally, every item you dig up has the Hydrated Mutation. Items with this Mutation sell for 2x more, making it a good method of farming in-game coins. You’ll need it after spending a whopping 900K!
