Find out what each of the Hunters Stats means, which you should improve depending on your build, and how to get Ability Points.
Which stats will you be focusing on in Hunters? We lightly touch on the topic in our full Hunters Progression walkthrough.
Hunters Stats
The stats you focus on depends on which weapons you have and which you currently have equipped. For swords, you should be looking at Strength mostly, and for staffs you should be boosting your Intellect.
All Stats in Hunters
What each stat in Hunters means.
Strength (STR)
The Strength stat is your bread and butter. This determines how strong your character is in battle, allowing you to deal more damage against enemies within dungeons.
If you’re more than happy to just brute force your way through fights, this is the stat you should focus on! It’s useful when you’re using melee weapons like swords.
Vitality (VIT)
This determines your overall HP! The higher your Vitality stat, the more HP you have. This is great for ‘warrior’ type builds where you want to be as tanky as possible so that you can deal damage at close range whilst staying alive.
Intellect (INT)
If you’re focusing on the Intellect stat, you’re more than likely playing with a magic weapon, such as a staff. The higher your Intellect Stat, the more magic DMG you deal, and the more powerful your weapon skills.
Perception (PER)
One of the more useless stats! It’s like Intellect in the sense that ranged magic users depend on this stat, but it’s not overly important to upgrade it straight away.
Agility (AGI)
With high Agility, you can move around the battlefield and dodge oncoming attacks much easier. This stat goes hand in hand with Strength and Vitality, though it isn’t a must.
How to Get Ability Points
You can obtain Ability Points by progressing and levelling up in Hunters! To do this, roll for new gear and skills as much as you can, as well as take part in dungeons and complete quests. You only have so many Ability Points to use at a time, so choose your stats wisely!
