With all of those Robux symbols throughout the game, is Grow a Garden F2P-friendly? Let’s discuss it! There used to be a seed that you can only get with Robux in Grow a Garden, which was the Cherry Blossom – we discuss it more in our other guide.

Is Grow a Garden F2P-friendly?

I would say so! You can make plenty of progress in the game without spending any real-life money. Rare crops are obtainable by simply playing the game often, taking part in limited-time events, and checking the Seed Shop frequently. Trading also exists, which involves two players exchanging in-game items such as crops and pets – just be careful with trading!

Where’s the fun in speeding up your progress when it comes to the general game and events? Grow a Garden is a relaxing game that’s supposed to take time, with gradual progress.

What Are the Paid-For Options?

While most things in the game are free, there are, unsurprisingly, purchasable items that you can only get with Robux. Just by clicking on the Shop button to the left, you can see a range of options such as the Exotic Flower Seed Pack and the Forever Pack. Both of these packs cost Robux, and you cannot get them with Sheckles. But do you need these packs? Not at all.

You can pay for additional Pet Slots and Egg Slots, but again, they are not necessary. You can exchange copies of pets for more Pet Slots in your garden, requiring no Robux whatsoever. Paying for instant restocks is also an option. Luckily, the stock for seeds, cosmetics, eggs, and gear refreshes multiple times a day, and the same goes for event shops, too! The point I’m making is, you don’t need to pay for restocks as it’s pointless.

I’d even go as far as to say that all paid-for options in Grow a Garden aren’t worth it. I’m not one to recommend purchasing in-game features or items with Robux, as you can still have fun and make progress without spending a penny.
