How to Get the Scavenger Enchant

Luckily, the Scavenger enchant can be obtained at random via a regular Enchant Relic rather than the rarer Exalted Relic. However, due to there being a wide variety of enchants in Fisch nowadays, it can be tricky to get the exact enchant you want.

What Does the Scavenger Enchant Do?

When using a fish rod that has the Scavenger enchant, there are three main buffs that it provides.

  • 3x higher chance to catch:
    • Treasure Maps
    • Threads
    • Nukes
    • Enchant Relics
  • 1.5x higher chance to catch Atomic Nukes
  • 1.75x higher chance to catch Exalted Relics

Enchant Relics

The item you have to use to enchant your fishing rod! It’s always a good idea to have some of these as spares in case you want to reroll the current enchant, or you get a new fishing rod

Nukes

Nukes usually have a 1 in 10,000 chance of appearing when you fish. However, with the Scavenger enchant, there’s a 3x higher chance of catching one. After obtaining a Nuke, you can activate the Nuke event by letting it detonate or by failing the minigame.

The Nuke event lasts for 30 minutes and summons an area which guarantees all caught fish will have the Nuclear mutation. This mutation increases the selling value of the fish by 6x! There’s also a 0.001% chance of being able to purchase a Nuke from the in-game Daily Shop.

Atomic Nukes

Atomic Nukes work similarly to regular Nukes in the sense that they are both events that take place within a certain radius. When an Atomic Nuke detonates, it summons an area where all who fish within it are guaranteed to catch fish with the Atomic mutation for 45 minutes. This mutation increases the selling value of fish by 8x.

Additionally, this is the only way to get the Skeletal Serpent, granting a 0.05% chance of catching it. Other than using the Scavenger enchant, you have a 1 in 75,000 chance to catch Atomic Nukes naturally when fishing. It also has a chance to be in stock in the Black Market and costs 100 million coins.

Treasure Maps

With a Treasure Map, you can go on your own treasure hunt! Speak to Jack Marrow at Forsaken Shores to unlock the full set of coordinates on the map. Once you have the coordinates, you can set sail to your destination. I recommend using the GPS item for this, as this is the only way to see coordinates on your screen. After finding the Treasure Chest, you can open it to receive random rewards.

There are four different types of Thread to obtain in Fisch:

  • Lunar Thread
    • Regular chances:
      • Fishing: 0.1% (must be during the Moonlit Mirage event)
      • Treasure Chests: 16%
      • Aquarium: 0.1%
      • Daily Shop: 0.63% (costs 250K coins)
      • Fallen Stars: 2.38%
  • Magic Thread
    • Regular chances:
      • Fishing: 7%
      • Treasure Chests: 16%
      • Aquarium: 1%
  • Murky Thread
    • Regular obtainment:
      • Complete the Forgotten Temple’s ‘Puzzle Room V‘
  • Ancient Thread
    • Regular chances:
      • Fishing: 0.5%
      • Treasure Chests: 9.5%
      • Aquarium: 0.5%

When using a fishing rod with the Scavenger enchant, you have a 3x higher chance of catching any one of these Thread types!

Exalted Relics

This Relic type offers different enchants when compared to regular Enchant Relics. These enchants can only be obtained via Exalted Relics:

  • Herculean
    • Control increases by 0.2
    • Maximum weight increases by 25kg
    • Progress Speed increases by 10%
  • Anomalous
    • 20% chance to duplicate fish
  • Piercing
    • Progress Speed increases by 15%
    • 30% chance to ‘stab’ fish, increasing Progress by 6%
  • Sea Overlord
    • Increases the size of fish by 40%
  • Invincible
    • Grants infinite maximum weight
    • The fishing rod can be used in the Brine Pool and the Roslit Volcano
  • Quantum
    • Increases Resilience by 25%
    • 25% chance to catch Subspace fish (increases selling value by 6x)
  • Immortal
    • Progress Speed increases by 30%
    • Luck increases by 75%
  • Mystical
    • Lure Speed increases by 15%
    • Luck increases by 25%
    • Progress Speed increases by 10%
    • Resilience increases by 45%
