Is The Parasol Flower The New Candy Blossom?

Despite not being the rarest seed from the Summer Seed Packs, the Parasol Flower has the highest base value. But why?

This is simply due to the Parasol Flower not being multiharvest. This means once you pluck it from the ground, it will stop growing, no longer develop mutations or value. So, to compensate for its short lifespan, its base value with no mutations sits at around 165,300 Sheckles! For comparison, a typical unmutated Candy Blossom is worth 90,250 Sheckles.

So, the Parasol Flower massively outpaces the Candy Blossoms’ base value. But, does this make it the new Candy Blossom?

I Hate To Say It But…

Despite its insane value, it simply doesn’t compare. Sure, it’s worth more, but a single Candy Blossom tree produces several fruits compared to the singular, which is the Parasol Flower.

Not only that, this flower is limited, and when it’s gone, players will no longer be able to farm it for cash. Maybe if it were a permanent shop addition like the Bamboo, another single-use plant that’s great for profits, then it’d outshine the Candy Blossom.

If you’re lucky enough to get a Parasol Flower, I recommend leaving it for as long as possible to develop as many mutations as possible. Even better if you have a Dragonfly or Butterfly pet, which can turn the flower into a Gold or Rainbow variant.
