Rogue Piece Demonite Fragment

A Legendary rarity item, the Demonite Fragment is highly sought after by seasoned and new players alike. That’s because it’s the only way of getting the Half Demon Race.

How to Get the Demonite Fragment

The singular way of obtaining a Demonite Fragment is by defeating the Asta, Half Demon Form boss. The Fragment itself has a 20% chance of dropping, and while it’s the most common drop from this boss fight, it’s not always a guarantee.

Asta, Half Demon Form Boss Fight

Here’s what to expect when facing the Half Demon Form of Asta:

Anti-Magic Dungeon

To enter the Anti-Magic Dungeon, you need to spend 5K Gems and 10 Dungeon Tickets. You have a chance of obtaining Dungeon Tickets whenever you open chests, but you can also exchange items for them by speaking to the Dungeon’s NPC. Each time you clear a Dungeon, you are rewarded with 1 Dungeon Ticket.

As you venture through the Anti-Magic Dungeon, do not be confused by the Asta, Anti-Magic boss. This boss spawns during Wave 5. The boss required for the Demonite Fragment is also Asta, but in his Half Demon Form. The latter spawns during Wave 10. Between Waves 1-4 and 6-9, you must battle against Magical Users.

Unlocking the Half Demon Race

Once you get a Demonite Fragment, there is a 30% chance that you can unlock the Half Demon Race upon its use.

About the Half Demon Race

So, is it worth unlocking? I actually ranked it in the A-tier in my Rogue Piece Races Tier List.

Pros

• Your Sword DMG increases
• Reduces incoming DMG from Power stats

Cons

• Your Maximum HP decreases by 30%

I recommend Arrancar over Half Demons, mainly because of the pros of the former. Yes, the debuff for Arrancars isn’t great, and neither is that of the Half Demon, but the obtainment of the Arrancar’s Flash Step can be useful. There’s also the 25%+ buff to Sword DMG to keep in mind, and a boost to your DEF.
