Oblivion Remastered Unique Weapons
There are quite a few unique weapons in Oblivion, but here are the highlights!
Brusef Amelion Family Sword
- Absorbs Endurance, Blade, and Agility
You need to venture into the Amelion Tombs to find this sword and the corresponding armour set. Whilst this is part of a Fighter’s Guild quest, you can still visit this location without picking it up.
If you do have the quest, you are required to hand in the sword and armor, but you can purchase them back if you wish to do so. Clear the zombies and enemies throughout the tombs and search around for the sword!
Captain Kordan’s Saber
- Deals Frost DMG
Make your way to The March Rider in Cheydinhal and speak to Tertia Viducia to purchase this blade for 6,783 gold. It absorbs Agility, Endurance, and Blade per hit.
Bow of Infliction
- Drains Marksman and damages Agility
Make your way to The Archer’s Paradox in Bravil and purchase the bow for 9,080 gold. It drains Marksman and damages Agility per hit.
Truncheon of Submission

- Restores your HP
Head to Morvayn’s Peacemakers in Anvil to purchase this weapon. The main reason why you may want this truncheon is because of its health restoration! It costs a total of 5,377 gold.
Staff of Flame
- Deals Fire DMG
First, purchase Benirus Manor from Velwyn Benirus in The Counts Arms in Anvil. Use the Benirus Manor Key to enter the building, and you’ll start the ‘Where Spirits Have Lease’ quest. Follow the quest requirements and you’ll eventually pick up the Staff of Flame.
Crimson Eviscerator
Visit Deepscorn Hollow, swim underwater, and head into the doorway that hides within a cylindrical structure. Head down the steps toward the statue and open the Unusual Box by the red candles. The Crimson Eviscerator blade is inside!
Akaviri Sunderblade
- Disintegrates the weapon and armor of the enemy
You can purchase this weapon from the Three Brothers Trade Goods in Imperial City, specifically from Sergius Veus. It costs 4,333 gold and is a one-handed enchanted longsword.
Akaviri Warblade
- Damage HP, Magicka, and Fatigue
In the Imperial City, you should visit Jensine’s Good as New Merchandise. You can purchase this weapon for 5,653 from this shop!
Chillrend
- Deals Frost DMG and has a chance to paralyse enemies
This is a reward when completing the quest, ‘The Killing Fields’. To pick up this quest, speak with Valus Odiil in The Grey Mare in Chorrol. You must defeat the goblins and save Valus’s sons. If they are both alive at the end of the battle, you can obtain the Chillrend weapon from Valus. This weapon deals frost DMG per hit!
Battleaxe of Hatred
- Damages Endurance, Strength, and Willpower
Again, in the Imperial City, head to the markets and go to A Fighting Chance to purchase this axe for 14,252 gold. It focuses on dealing Strength, Endurance, and Willpower DMG.
Calliben’s Grim Retort
- Absorbs Blunt and Strength
- Deals Frost DMG
During the quest, ‘Unfriendly Competition’, you end up in a tomb towards the end. This weapon is discarded on the ground within the tomb, so make sure to keep an eye out for it!
