All of the Rune Slayer Professions come with buffs, giving your character a boost in an area of gameplay you want to specialise in. To perfect your build more, it’s worth obtaining some of the Rune Slayer Armor. Or, you can join one of the classes in Rune Slayer, as they also give you boosts!

Rune Slayer Professions

Professions give you boosts depending on the level you reach. The best way to level up is by defeating mobs, as they will give you EXP. Some professions also have specific mobs, which will appear as a quest when speaking to the retrospective NPC.

Fishing

If you like fishing, you’ll want this profession. This is my favourite!

  • Intermediate Fisher (level 20)
    • Fishing power gets a 1.5x increase
  • Experienced Fisher (level 40)
    • 50% chance of not consuming bait
  • Master Fisher (level 50)
    • Increase fish being reeled in by 100%
  • Bonus Luck (level 60)

Mining

Those who like exploring mines, collecting ores, and materials should have this profession. This profession gives +1 Stamina per profession level.

  • Trained Miner (level 20)
    • Mine 1.25x quicker
    • Rare ores are 25% more common
  • Experienced Miner (level 40)
    • Mine 1.3x quicker
    • Rare ores are 50% more common
  • Advanced Miner (level 50)
    • Mine 1.5x quicker
    • Rare ores are 100% more common
  • Bonus Luck (level 60)

Foraging

Like exploring the wild and seeing what you find? Foraging may be the go-to. You will also get +1 Strength per profession level.

  • Trained Forager (level 20)
    • Chop 1.25x faster
    • Increase carry load by 50
  • Experienced Forager (level 40)
    • Chop 1.3x faster
    • Increase carry load by 100
  • Not Chopped, Chopped (level 50)
    • Chop 1.5x faster
    • Increase carry load by 150
  • Bonus Luck (level 60)

Herbalist

Herbalists use herbs! They also get +1 Spirit per profession level.

  • Accurate Picking (level 20)
    • 20% chance to double loot from herbs
  • Precise Picking (level 40)
    • 35% chance to double loot from herbs
  • Nature’s Botanist (level 50)
    • 50% chance to double loot from herbs
  • Bonus Luck (level 60)

Alchemist

Craft potions to get unique abilities and spells. If you have this profession, you will get +1 Intellect per profession level.

  • Advanced Brewer (level 20)
    • 50% chance to get another potion when you craft
  • Slow Metabolism (level 20)
    • Potions have a 1.25x longer duration
  • Potent Potions (level 40)
    • Potions are more potent when you drink them
  • Shared Drinking (level 50)
    • Potions affect allies nearby
  • Bonus Luck (level 60)

Harvesting

If you’re in this profession, you get +1 Agility per profession level.

  • Experienced Harvester (level 20)
    • 50% chance to double loot when harvesting 
    • Harvest 1.25x faster
  • No Crops Left Behind (level 40)
    • 75% chance to double loot when harvesting 
    • Harvest 1.3x faster
  • One With Nature (level 50)
    • 100% chance to double loot when harvesting 
    • Harvest 1.5x faster
  • Bonus Luck (level 60)

Combat

Those who prefer fight over flight and like to tackle enemies head-on, you should go for the Combat profession.

  • Experienced Handler (level 20)
    • +3% bonus monster damage
    • +3% luck increase
  • Adaptive Warrior (level 40)
    • +6% bonus monster damage
    • +5% luck increase
  • One With Your Weapon (level 50)
    • +10% bonus monster damage
    • +10% luck increase
  • Bonus Luck (level 60)
