Unlocking the Slayers 2 Water Breathing Style requires a few things, including a 6-part questline. The Breathing Style you go for is entirely up to you in Slayers 2. If you can’t decide which to choose, perhaps my Slayers 2 Breathing Style Tier List can help.

Slayers 2 Water Breathing

The Water Breathing Trainer NPC you’re looking for is located in a hidden area that can only be accessed by swimming through a passage of water in Bamboo Grove.

On the map, to the south of the Bamboo Grove Sanctuary, you can see a small island with a house in the middle and two bridges on either side. The passage you need to enter is by the bridge on the left. It’s a square hold in the ground, slightly covered by a bush.

A circled area on the Slayers 2 map shows the location of the hidden underwater passage that leads to the Water Breathing Trainer, Urokodaki.
The entrance to the hidden underwater passage is circled on the map.

Once you’re in the water, keep swimming and following the glowing lights until you find a set of ladders leading up to the hidden location. This is where you’ll find Urokodaki, the Water Breathing Trainer.

You need to meet three requirements before you can unlock the Water Breathing questline:

  • Reach level 25
  • Collect 30 Demon Horns
  • Have 5K Wen

After meeting these requirements, you can speak with Urokodaki to start the necessary questline.

Training Questline

The questline to unlock Water Breathing consists of 6 quests, including the puzzling Underwater Rocks task. First, there’s a parkour level to complete.

Parkour

Complete a parkour level with 6 obstacles and 3 lives. If you lose all 3 lives, you have to start over again.

Perform Push Ups

The goal here is to get the progress bar to 100% by performing push-ups. Match the prompts on-screen to add to the progress bar.

Push the Boulder

The next task is to push a boulder to a specified location. Follow the pathway to the marked location with the boulder, and you’ll complete this section of the questline.

Aim Training

Targets appear on your screen during this challenge, which you must hit accurately to increase progress. The challenge is completed once you reach 100% progress.

Underwater Rocks

To complete the Underwater Rocks quest, you need to head to the Bamboo Grove lake. You have to swim underwater to find the 5 rocks, so make sure to keep an eye on your oxygen. The thing about this quest is that the locations of the 5 rocks change for each player.

There’s no way to determine the exact locations for your playthrough, but they’ll be somewhere in the lake, so just keep swimming around until you spot the glowing rocks.

Water Trainee

The last quest is to defeat the Water Trainee, Sabito. This boss uses AoE attacks the majority of the time, so try to stay far away when you’re not attacking or replenishing your HP. It’s a tough fight, so you might want to level up a bit more before facing the challenge.
