I’ll be your tour guide today as we descend into the hostile caves of The Forge. Look to your left, and you’ll see some Elite Mobs that have spawned. Oh no. Anyway, my guide tells you where to find these brutes so you can continue with questline progression and stock up on some insane loot.

The Forge Elite Mob Spawn Locations

To find the Elite Mobs in The Forge, head into the Forgotten Kingdom caves via the Captain Rowan camp entrance. (Use the cannon at spawn to enter quickly.) Head up the small incline on the right, and then enter the room on the right. Here, you’ll see a Basalt Vein in the ground.

Break this node and jump down into the Volcanic Depths, where you’ll find two different Elite mob spawns. Other mobs spawn within the Volcanic Depths, all of which are formidable adversaries, so be cautious if you enter this deathzone.

What Are Elite Mobs?

Elite mobs are stronger variants of other mobs found within the same cave systems. The first island, Stonewake Cross, does not have any Elite Mobs.

Most players’ first encounters with them happen within the caves of Forgotten Kingdom, after travelling to the Volcanic Depths in search of Ore, or to complete questlines including Elites, such as the Captain Rowan 4 Quest, and beyond.
