The Type Soul Compensation Shop compensates players for the removal of content in the form of free rewards. To unlock these rewards, you need the exclusive Type Soul currency, Compensation Tokens.

While content has been removed, there’s plenty of fresh content to enjoy, including the brand-new Type Soul Ikomikidomoe boss fight.

Type Soul Compensation Shop

The Compensation Shop gives back to players for losing content that they’d previously unlocked. Some of the older content was removed with the most recent Type Soul update due to the massive rerelease of the game

How to Get Compensation Shop Tokens

The number of Compensation Shop Tokens you get depends entirely on what you unlocked before the big Type Soul update. This is because some features have been removed from the game, so to compensate players, the devs have created the Compensation Shop.

The removed content, which offers Compensation Tokens, is:

  • Devil Trigger
    • 25x Compensation Tokens
    • 1x Dimensional Shard
  • True Release
    • 175x Compensation Tokens
    • 3x Custom Chosen Community Accessories
  • Any of the Soul War Gamepasses
    • 15x Compensation Tokens

Additional removed content:

  • Vows and Spooky Skins
    • Per Vow or Skin:
      • Locked Weapon Rerolls
      • Locked Element Rerolls
      • Locked Clan Rerolls
    • Vow of Silence:
      • 1x Hogyoku Ball
    • Vow of Sacrifice:
      • 1x Hogyoku Ball
  • Those Who Know Emblem
    • Green Another Day
    • Vampire Setro
    • Creed Emblem
  • Ancient Vastocar
    • 5x Soul Blessings
    • You get all the ingredients back

Aside from this, there are no other ways to obtain Compensation Tokens. Once you’ve spent all that you have, you can no longer purchase anything from the Compensation Shop. This is why you should plan what to buy beforehand so you don’t waste the exclusive, limited currency.

Where is the Compensation Shop?

You can find the Compensation Shop in the South of Karakura Town. Head to the basketball court to find an NPC named Machiru, Yachiru’s twin. To make it easier to spot them, look for bright blue hair.

When you interact with them, the Compensation Shop window opens, where you can browse the various goods on offer. Choose wisely, as chances are, you won’t have the maximum amount of Compensation Tokens you can get. Make sure to exchange the Tokens for the items you really want.
