What Does Zen Sand Do In Grow a Garden?
Although this isn’t the answer you want to hear, but Zen Sand doesn’t do anything. You can place it in your garden, and it sits there. Zen Sand is purely a cosmetic item that has no function other than to make your garden look nicer and more aesthetically pleasing.
You may be wondering why Zen Sand is the talk of the town, or talk of the garden, rather. Many people like to decorate their garden with cosmetic items. Some people make themes, and other people use them to fill gaps in their garden. Considering the latest update introduced a ton of Zen-themed cosmetics, it’s very on theme to add Zen Sand in your garden!
How To Get Zen Sand
You can purchase Zen Sand from the Tranquil Treasures Shop. It follows the same routine as other shops with regular restocks, but this restocks every 60 minutes. Zen Sand is a rare item, so it should appear regularly.
This cosmetic item costs 15 Chi, which is the new in-game currency. You can get this by handing over Tranquil crops during a Zen Aura Weather event. Once you have crops with this mutation, give them to either the Zen Channeler NPC or the Tanuki. If you want to view the shop, you’ll need to speak to the Tanuki and ask to see what’s available.
As Zen Sand was introduced in an update, it’s safe to assume that this is a limited-time cosmetic, meaning once the event ends, it becomes unobtainable.
