Grow a Chicken Fighter Best Arena Abilities

The Arena game mode in Grow a Chicken Fighter features 3v3 battles, requiring your best chickens. With fusions, you can apply new abilities to your strongest chickens, but first, you need to unlock them. My guide goes over how to get the best abilities and what they do.

Support Abilities

These abilities deal damage, but they also provide support, replenishing HP and granting stat buffs.

Facet

• Unlocks via the Crystal Hen
  • Less than a 1% chance to hatch from the Bloom Egg
    • Bloom Eggs have a 70% chance to drop from Ballerina Hens and a 100% chance from Cauldron Hens
• DMG:
  • Deals 80% DMG per shard, with a maximum of 4 shards, totalling 320%

Summons shards that deal damage to opponents. This ability also restores 18% of maximum HP.

Metamorphosis

• Unlocks via the Monarch Hen
  • 14% chance to hatch from the Bloom Egg
    • Bloom Eggs have a 70% chance to drop from Ballerina Hens and a 100% chance from Cauldron Hens
• DMG:
  • 140% Burst DMG when the cocoon explodes

Turns into a cocoon, which replenishes HP and provides a DMG and speed buff before exploding to deal damage. The cocoon lasts for 1.2 seconds, buffing DMG by 40% and speed by 25% for 5 seconds, as well as restoring 20% of maximum HP.

Damage Abilities

Abilities that focus on dealing a high amount of damage.

Black Sun

• Unlocks via the Eclipse Hen
  • 1% chance to hatch from the Ascension Egg
• DMG:
  • Deals 70% DMG per tick with a maximum of 5 ticks, totalling 350%
  • 690% Burst DMG
• Radius:
  • Begins at 10 units, with the last burst increasing to 15 units

A ranged attack which summons a black sun above the target. The arena turns dark, and the black sun explodes, creating a shockwave and dealing AoE damage. This ability knocks opponents back, increasing in distance and radius upon exploding.

Reaction Ring

• Unlocks via the Catalyst Hen
  • Less than a 1% chance to hatch from the Colossus Egg
    • Colossus Eggs have a 25% chance to drop from Founder Roosters
• DMG:
  • Deals 80% DMG per pulse with a maximum of 4 pulses, totalling 320%
  • 600% Blast DMG
• Radius:
  • Begins at 12 units

Summons a ring beneath the target which slowly shrinks, dealing pulse damage before exploding. Each pulse knocks the opponent back, with the final explosion knocking them back further.

Stormcall

• Unlocks via the Storm Colossus
  • 1% chance to hatch from the Colossus Egg
    • Colossus Eggs have a 25% chance to drop from Founder Roosters
• DMG:
  • Deals 135% DMG per lightning bolt. There are 4 bolts, totalling 540% DMG, with the final explosion dealing 220%
• Radius:

Shoots 4 lightning bolts towards the target before sending out a final attack. Each lightning bolt knocks the opponent back, including the final explosion.
