I’ve created this Soul Land New World Tier List guide to help new players, including two tier lists for Soul Masters and Martial Souls. While your favourite play style in Soul Land New World is subjective, there are undoubtedly stronger classes and companions in terms of abilities and stats.

Soul Land New World Tier Lists

In this guide, I’ve created two tier lists: one ranking the Martial Souls and the other ranking the Soul Masters. The former are the classes you can choose at the start of the game, while the latter are companions that support you in battle.

Naturally, I’ve included the tier list for Martial Souls at the top as this is the first decision you’ll have to make when first creating your character.

Martial Soul Tier List [Classes]

Martial Souls are the classes you can choose in Soul Land New World. After you pick the class you want to play as, you can customise your character. Keep in mind that some classes are gender-locked; for example, you can only create a female character if you choose the Soft Bone Rabbit Martial Soul.

S Tier

The best classes to choose in Soul Land New World.

• Qibao Amber Pagoda
  • Roles:
    • Support and Survival
      • A support class through and through
  • Difficulty:
• Cat of Netherworld
  • Roles:
    • Damage, Agility, and Control
      • A fast-paced melee DPS
  • Difficulty:
• Blue Silver Grass
  • Roles:
    • Damage, Control, and Survival
      • A DPS class with defensive capabilities

A Tier

Powerful classes that are almost just as good as those in the S tier.

• Soft Bone Rabbit
  • Roles:
    • Survival, Agility, Damage, and Control
      • A fairly balanced class, but does not offer many support-type abilities
  • Difficulty:
• White Tiger
  • Roles:
    • Survival, Support, and Control
      • More of a DPS tank
  • Difficulty:

B Tier

Selective classes that aren’t the strongest.

• Sausage
  • Roles:
    • Support, Survival, and Damage
      • A defensive support class with a strange name

C Tier

The worst classes to choose.

• Evil Fire Phoenix
  • Roles:
    • Damage, Control, and Survival
      • Very much a DPS class

Soul Master Tier List [Companions]

Companions are exactly what you’re probably guessing. They support your main character in combat and are otherwise known as Soul Masters.

S Tier

The best companions to join you on your journey.

• Oscar
• Dai Mubai
• Ye Lingling
• Xiao Wu

A Tier

Even these companions are great options to fight alongside you.

• Haotian Hammer
• Ning Rongrong
• Gui Mei
• Zhu Zhuqing

B Tier

Only go for these Soul Masters if you like their aesthetic.

C Tier

I recommend avoid these companions.
